FAQ

Questions worth answering plainly

For writers, producers, and anyone asking whether Beckett is a serious place to send a story.

Real company, real limits

Beckett Production London Ltd is registered in the UK. Awards and partnerships are published only when they exist.

How stories arrive

Türkiye and UK / International are separate calls on one desk. Not by direct message.

Formats accepted

Feature, TV, limited series, shorts, vertical mobile-first series, digital, co-production — documentary and animation when the desk opens.

Is Beckett Production a real company?

Yes. Beckett Production is the public name for Beckett Production London Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 15284375, incorporated 14 November 2023). This site describes the work: finding stories, developing selected projects, and connecting them with production partners. Awards, credits, and partnerships are published only when they exist.

Where is Beckett based?

The registered office is 72 Chase Side, Suite 2, Polipost Business Centre, London, N14 5PH, United Kingdom. Full registration details are on the company page.

Can I submit a screenplay?

Yes, through an open call on this website. Türkiye and UK / International are separate calls on the same desk. A project is not sent by direct message.

Will someone review my project?

A person at Beckett makes the editorial decision. Software does not accept or decline a project. Beckett does not promise notes on every submission, and it does not promise a reply time.

What happens after I submit?

A submission is recorded with an identifier, a version, and a time. It can then move through initial review, editorial review, consideration, and, if chosen, development. Not every project travels the whole line.

Who can see my screenplay?

A screenplay is not published on the public site. The private studio, when it is open, will limit a file to Beckett’s editors and to a producer only after access is granted. Each download is meant to be recorded.

Are my rights protected by uploading?

Submission timestamps and platform records document activity within the Beckett Production platform. They do not replace formal copyright registration or legal advice.

What formats do you develop?

Feature films, television and limited series, short films, mobile-first vertical series (9:16 episodic fiction shot or planned for portrait delivery — not a cropped widescreen film), digital and streaming projects, and international co-productions. Documentary and animation can be submitted when the desk opens.
